Here at 4 The Love of Dogs, we take great pride in our crate-free facility. Our doggie daycare family spend the day playing together as a pack. Our daycare facility is comprised of several open-top wooden rooms with lots of open indoor play space and a large, fenced-in and monitored outdoor play area. Dogs spend very little time in their rooms which are used for primarily for feeding and "time-outs."

Daycare Update: We will be adding spots to our current day care pack over the next few months. We will be giving priority to current Hill Top daycare dogs- as they have already established a relationship with the other dogs and staff. If your dog attends day care at Hill Top currently, you are guaranteed your current spot(s) and will be offered additional days/spots. Cynthia and the staff at Hill Top have worked incredibly hard to provide an exceptional environment for the dogs. Part of what sets Hill Top apart, and why we are so incredibly proud and fortunate to be carrying on what they have created, is our daycare “pack.” Because our daycare dogs are crate-free and spend the day interacting and playing with each other, we take extra care when introducing a new dog to the group. This is imperative, not only for the safety and happiness of the dog being introduced, but also for the safety and happiness of our current dogs and our staff. After offering additional spots to our current daycare pack, we intend to open some daycare slots for puppies and young dogs. This is also done for the safety of our dogs and staff. Introducing dogs at a young age is generally much easier on the dog being introduced and on the pack as a whole. It allows the dog being introduced to become social at a young age but also gives them time to interact with and learn their place among the other dogs before the influx in hormones. That said, we are certainly not opposed to having older dogs, but every dog begins on a trial basis to make certain that they are good fit. To attend daycare, your pup must be spayed/neutered by the age of one, get along well with other pups, and have clean bite record. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about this process! We will be posting when daycare spots become available. I also want to mention that day-to-day operations at daycare and the group of dogs will remain the same. Therefore, if you have tried Hill Top in the past for daycare and your dog wasn’t a good fit for the group, that dynamic will not change. This doesn’t mean that your pup isn’t a perfect angel! But we want to be certain that all of our dogs are happy, safe, and thriving in the daycare environment. Thanks so much!
